THE NEW GENERATION
Zeinab Hassan (Palestine 2012, 10 min.)
Zeinab gets in the morning to her school in Nasra - Palestine in the wake of the Nakba Day. As usual, before the bell rings, she meets with the girls, her classmates, certain that their talk will be on the Nakba and the march of return which is held every year in Palestine (48). Zeinab gets surprised that not only didn't anyone go to the return march, but also that no one knows what is the 'return march,' so she decides to make a film that plunges into the memory and the knowledge of these children to their history and the history of their country Palestine, placing us ahead of a movie that includes the power of adults movies and the innocence of kids, as it tells in enormous truth, the story of Palestine and its struggle with the memory.
